It was early in the AM when we started our journey towards the reserve. Still pitch black and bitterly cold outside. The dim light of headlamps was used to find our way to the edge of the water. Jackets, gloves, woolen socks and caps were not enough. Hand warmers pitched in to help us survive the wait.

Just as the distant sky turned purple, with the sun still below the horizon, the silence of the night was shattered by the raucous melody of thousands of snow geese flying in. They circled the water before landing as I made this image.

Crisp air, sparkling sky, and the energy of the birds, made this a truly memorable experience that I wish to share with you.

Each piece is custom made after the order is placed. The Aluminum prints usually take up to a week in production. Lumachrome Acrylic can take up to three weeks in production. Art is shipped once it is ready. Shipping time varies based on your location. I'll be in touch with you throughout and will provide a tracking number once the art is on its way.
